Scott Bond is an multiple Emmy award winner / nominee and hair colorist to the stars – has been involved in the beauty and hair industry for over 20 years. He handles everything from cut, color and hair extensions to Brazilian blowouts for his impressive roster of A-list clientele, including but not limited to: Meredith Vieira, Kim Basinger, Hope Davis and Judith Light.
Scott has an outstanding pedigree and reputation in the hair and beauty industry; having trained under head colorist Constance Hartnett and training at the prestigious L’Oreal Institute he took his talents to a number of renowned salons across the nation. From Frederic Fekkai at Bergdorf Goodman, John Barrett to Elizabeth Arden and Privé New York, he has made an impact with his experience and style and built up a dedicated following of clients.
Scott’s work has been featured in popular magazines such as: Vogue, Allure, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Harper’s Bazaar even landing him a position as on-site colorist for photo-shoots with InStyle Magazine. He has been featured for makeover segments for NBC’s “Today in New York”, ABC’s “The View” and has also been invited to travel across the continent to work on many movies from “LA Confidential” to “X-Men”.
Scott’s freelance work has taken him global, traveling frequently between Los Angeles, New York, London, and Marrakech. His hair-care enterprise has become a staple convenience to the likes of celebrities, socialites and forward-thinkers. He will continue his work as normal in New York City, but is now making time for his Connecticut clients from Thursday to Sunday every week with the opening of his latest hair and beauty venture – luxury boutique salon, blow dry bar and retail shop “The Byrde + the b”.
