Becky Rothmaler is a freelance makeup artist and licensed esthetician. She attended FIT for Fine Arts where she realized her love of color and creation. After graduating she went to Atelier Esthetique on Park avenue where she studied esthetics. She’s been working in the beauty industry since 2008 giving skincare treatments at Spas on Long Island and Manhattan. In summer 2015 she decided to go back to school to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a full time professional makeup artist. She enrolled into the Makeup Forever Academy in Soho NY learning makeup for beauty, fashion, tv, film, theatre, and body painting. She is continuing to explore all aspects of these art forms. Upon graduating she has worked on sets for film working on actors and performers. She has worked with fashion photographers, designers and top agency models here in NYC. She does beauty makeup for private clients and brides in the New York region. She is passionate, hard working and loves the world of beauty, art, and creation.
Becky has worked with major brands such as Revlon, House of Molteni, The M Jewelers, NaKd Fashion and Apparis. She has worked with many fashion designers on lookbooks, photoshoots and runway including Marc Bouwer, GeChic Luxe Wear, Jyuriri, Julia Seregina, Farai Simoyi and more. She has had work published in Vulkan, Nylon Spain, Blanc Magazine, Vogue Italia PhotoVogue, Schon Magazine , Ladygunn, Mod and many others. She’s worked backstage at NYFW keying her first show for Marc Bouwers SS20 collection. She’s also assisted artists onset and for runway, such as Lijha Stewart, Romy Soleimani on Kate Spade FW19, and Chiao Li for Batsheva FW 19 collection. She has worked for Penske Media, Netflix, Elinchrom, Wac Lighting, Thought Catalog, Moving Picture Institute, We The Internet Tv, Loose Seal Productions, Mas Mejor, You Tube, Funny or Die, Conde Nast and more.
